Integrity is a key to a better life

Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord?     Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?  Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends…Such people will stand firm forever. (Psalm 15:1-3,5)

It’s especially important to realize that your integrity, your example, can either positively or negatively affect others when you are in a position of authority or respect. You are an example to others. Others will look up to you and model themselves after you: therefore, you bear some added responsibility to conduct yourself with integrity.

Integrity is living according to scriptural principles.
It’s being honest, noble, trustworthy, reliable, acting honourably, keeping your word.
It’s acting or speaking with transparency, as if someone you love or respect is watching what you are doing.
It’s not speaking negatively about others or gossiping.
It’s treating others as you would want them to treat you.
It’s living an honourable and respectful life.

Living with integrity is a key to a better life, a better future, and a better eternity. [1]

I am convinced that our greatest sin is that of omission: good not done, responsibilities not lived, good and dutiful gestures not made, commitments not fulfilled. - Blaise Pascale
