Reflect God’s light
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

An active partner in our lives

As you look to Me

Jesus experienced emotions as we do
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 ESV)
We can leave them eternal treasures
But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6)
He wants the world to be filled with the same

He looks into your heart

Darkness simply cannot exist in the presence of light
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12 ESV)
They love everyone
Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. (Colossians 3:10 NLT)
His presence in my life will never diminish
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5 KJV)
God expects us to do what we can
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. (2 Corinthians 4:7 ESV)
But the Christian life is not to be lived in the natural
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. (1 Thessalonians 5:15 ESV)
When coupled with prayer
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
It is achieved through God’s grace
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2 ESV)
Why not get a head start
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. (Psalm 143:8 ESV)
I think about all of the promises in God’s Word
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV)
It’s good to plan ahead and lay solid foundations
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV)
